it's black and white

There is something about a black & white photograph that draws me in. Don't get me wrong I love colour. I'm inspired by colour, but Oh black & white! I will choose it 9 times out of 10. It has the ability to tell a story, to draw out emotions without the prejudices of colour. After all, I think the best thing about photographs are the stories they tell, of how things were, not only how they looked but how they felt. It's that feeling that I want to remember. It's what inspires me to pick up my camera again and again.
